Got this game for the Co-Op element and I gotta say it didn't disappoint. Good casual simulation-shooter that doesn't take itself too seriously, while still providing an intense FPS experience. Community is also surprisingly friendly considering the expected target audience.

The good combination of casual and realistic shooter, great balance, pretty fair, maybe a little too rough for new players, but you can adapt pretty quickly. I recommend to everyone who seeks realistic gun play and low ttk (time to kill)

Pretty chill mil shooter that is realistic enough not to make you cringe but not as stressful as escape from tarkov. It has a variety of cool modern weapons implemented. I just wish they would update the game further with a kac, URGI, or block II

I dont usually play online shooters however this game has really drawn me in! Its awesome and brings an FPS gaming experience like no other I have experienced! Excellent game nicely done.

As an FPS fan, this title had largely flown under my radar but I'm glad I didn't pass it up! Insurgency Sandstorm has quickly grown to become one of the more polished, balanced, and well-engineered FPS titles available for those looking for a less 'arcadey' (i.e. more realistic) yet still action-packed shooters. Tons of fun game modes, accessible mods, and not a huge learning curve to enjoy. Most notably, the sound engineering in this game is AMAZING. For the price, this is definitely worth picking up if you're drawn to this genre :)

I played the original when it first came around and this one knocks it out of the park. The customization is fun just like before but adds more to do. I love how you can play as an insurgent in the PVE mode as well.

Insurgency Sandstorm is a fun, modern tactical FPS with a pretty decent feature set. Both PVE and PVP modes are fun, but I feel as though the PVP could do with more game modes. The breakthrough-esque PVP mode is fine enough, but something about it that I can't quite put my finger on ends up getting tiring pretty quickly for my tastes. The PVE mode, which is a succession of point captures vs AI, is fun, but has a pretty casual feel, and I don't think there's quite enough there to sustain that side on its own. I haven't gotten too deeply into the game beyond that, but the community seems to think that there is more focus on skins than fresh content right now, and if that's truly the case, then it's concerning.
But, there's definitely worse times to be had. It has very solid gunplay, good visuals and audio, and if you can get it on sale it's well worth it. I got it for £10 here, it's currently £25. Wait for a sale.

I made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun, the game includes many maps and guns . It has a very good system of model customization where you can customize your soldier , I liked it due to it being realistic and not making everything into a cartoon like warzone or other competitive shooters.

my first time playing, its fun but can be confusing at times on where the ememy is and accidently teaming killing as new to the game

This game is epic. A perfect balance between realism and entertainment! The only FPS games I play nowadays are R6S and this one. I cannot recommend this game more! It's so much fun and satisfying! The developers are absolutely amazing! New maps, new weapons, new game modes, etc. They just keep throwing new and also fun things at us. This game is ideal for people who prefer realistic gameplay but don't want to invest too much time in the complex mechanisms of games like ArmA III or Squad.

If there's one thing I have to complain about, it's the bug fixes and optimization. Three years after release on PC, the performance is still not ideal. I have a rather decent machine (3700X + 6900 XT), but I still can't get a stable fps on high settings (admittedly, the game is already much smoother under medium to low settings.). In terms of bugs, most game-breaking bugs are already fixed, but there are still many minor ones that can be annoying sometimes. I still have faith in the developers, and I believe it will get better and better!

All in all, do not hesitate, just buy it and join us! Besides the official server, there are plenty of community servers (and mods) that provide us with all kinds of fun. You won't be disappointed if you are a hardcore FPS gamer!

Great squad based multiplayer game, based in the Middle East. I'm no expert at multiplayer games, I haven't yet gone "on line" with this game. There is a great tutorial level, like a killing house type scenario. You can also play in "single player" via local play. This gives you AI teammates fighting an AI enemy. This is a great way to practice once you have the controls sorted in the tutorial level. There is a range to practice on also, not just with static targets but enemies can also be spawned via a laptop in game. Loving it so far, and at time of purchase (£9.99) much cheaper than Steam. No issues activating on Steam, bought two copies - one for a friend to play Co-op with (when I'm good enough!). Highly recommended!

Its like call of duty if call of duty was actually fun. Buy this game if you like COD but are sick of the BS microtransactions and SBMM

Solid FPS for a group of friends vs AI. Looks and sounds great, plays really well and a pretty chill option for something to play when you don't fancy PvP but still want to group up with friends and shoot some pixels.
